Well done to our six students who competed at the DSD, South Dublin Schools Cross Country race on Wednesday 18th October. The 1st year students, Hugo Loomes (1A), James Cunningham (1C) & Come Schwerer (1B) ran in a field of 72 participants over approx 1.2km. In a fast paced race, the boys finished well in 7th, 18th & 55th places, respectively. The 2nd year students, Daniel Keogh (2D), Jack Cahill (2D) & Tom O'Brien (2C) ran in a smaller grouping and competed very well against some very experienced runners.
Well done to all of our athletes! A special thanks to Ailish Carney for providing transport to and from the venue.
