Pianist Joe O'Grady wins Ursula Uí Chuinneagáin Bursary for Young Pianists
Very well done to Joe O'Grady in Third Year who was awarded a bursary of €2,000 and a beautiful Waterford crystal trophy for his superb performance in the final of this year's Royal Irish Academy of Music competition.
This generous bursary is provided by Ursula's son, Luke, in recognition of her contribution to music in Ireland, and offers talented young pianists financial support and encouragement to nurture their further development.

Joe also won two first prizes in the Feis Ceoil: the Dorothy Stokes Cup, and the Junior Concerto.
Congratulations also to Johnny Blake in Third Year who was Highly Commended in the Junior Violin (A) competition in the Feis Ceoil.
