Well done to Sixth Years Cormac Carney, Ronan Carney, and Julien Kelly, who represented our school so well on this year's Dublin Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes which ended yesterday. The three boys, along with students from schools from all over the Archdiocese, helped with various aspects of the Pilgrimage such as assisting the sick pilgrims and taking part in the liturgies. It was a demanding but uplifting experience, in particular meeting so many people who live their lives by the motto 'in all things to live and serve'.
We were delighted to meet several past pupils of Gonzaga who were also volunteering on the pilgrimage, and thanks to those whose duty schedule allowed them to meet us for dinner. Their commitment to returning to the Pilgrimage each year is very impressive.
On the last day we lit a candle for the intentions of everyone in our school community.
Many thanks to everyone who was involved in organising this unforgettable trip.
