'Ireland Reads' Thursday 25 February

*Update Friday 26 February*

Thanks to everyone who sent in photos.

'Ireland Reads' is a new national day to celebrate reading.

On Thursday 25 February, we’re inviting people of all ages to get reading. Why? Because taking some time for yourself to relax and do the things you enjoy (like reading) is important to help look after your mental wellbeing.

Take the pledge here and see how many minutes people all over Ireland will be squeezing in to read.

Ireland Reads is a public libraries initiative, in partnership with publishers, booksellers, authors and others under the Government’s ‘Keep Well’ campaign.

We would love to see some photos of members of the Gonzaga community taking time to 'Squeeze in a Read'. If you would like to share a photo, please email it to library@gonzaga.ie and we will compile a gallery for the website and social media. Happy reading!
