At 7:30am on Tuesday 5 October, 45 Leaving Cert. History students and three teachers went on the biennial trip to Belfast. We visited Stormont Parliament, had a guided tour of the loyalist Shankill Road area and went on a tour of Crumlin Road Gaol. In the afternoon we had a guided tour of Clifton Street Cemetery (the resting place of notable Protestant republicans from the 1798 Rebellion), and of the republican Falls Road area.
Thanks to Mr Tuite and Ms McKay for the photos. More photos can be seen here.
