Commiserations to the French Debating team of Henry Li, Trevor Bolger, Liam Ó Laoide and Rohan Devereux who lost out narrowly to St Leo’s College, Carlow in last night's national final of the Alliance Française Joutes Oratoires French debating competition. The students spoke wonderfully well on a difficult topic. Thank you to Mr Dingle for his many hours of hard work, preparing the speakers in minute detail for five debates throughout the campaign, and félicitations to the winning team from St Leo's.
