Well done to our swimmers who were amongst 190 from 16 different schools competing in the CBS Naas swimming gala in K-Leisure, Athy on Monday 22nd January.
Dan O'Mahony (5A) finished with a gold medal in the Senior 100m backstroke and a silver medal in the Senior 100m IM; Adam Whitaker (4D) took home gold in the Inter 50m breaststroke and bronze in the Inter 50m butterfly; Tom Kilroy (2C) finished with a bronze medal in the Junior 100m freestyle.
Alex O Tuama (4B) narrowly missed out on the medals in all four of his races and JP O'Grady (1A), in his first gala, competed commendably in both his races.
