Gonzaga’s own Jack Barry and Arthur Henry were involved in the Leinster U18’s team that came out victorious in this year’s interprovincial championship. Jack being chosen to captain the side was also an added bonus, a first for the college. The championship took place over a 10 day period in the University of Limerick at the end of August 2018. Past pupil and Gonzaga rugby coaches Mark McGroarty and Chris Coburn were also heavily involved in the squad’s success. It’s a great honour for the school to have both players and coaches involved at such a high level of the sport.
