Three Gonzaga teams played in the All-Ireland Schools indoors Championships in the National Sports Campus in Blanchardstown on Friday 23rd February.
Our Junior team put in their best performance of the day to win their final 7-4 against Colaiste Choilm Ultimate and bring home the gold for the first time. For a team made up mainly of 1st years and missing all our 3rd years this was a huge result.
In a hotly contested and physical final the Seniors beat their old city rivals St Fintan's 1. The score ended 8-4 meaning we retain the trophy we won in 2016 (no championship last year).
And, not to be left out, the Gonzaga 2 team took home the Spirit of the Game award in the senior division.
Well done to all the students at to Mr Earley; it was a great day full of hard work and effort.
